What is SCBC? 什么是 SCBC?

• The Supplier Code of Business Conduct (SCBC) policy is a key part of Canadian Tire’s (CTR) commitment to cor p orate social res p onsibilit y and ethical business sourcing practices. As one of Canada’s most trusted companies, Canadian Tire’s reputation depends upon the way in which we, and our vendors, conduct our business practices.

供应商商业行为守则的政策是 CTR 公司恪守承诺遵守企业社会责任和商业道德 规范的重要部分。作为加拿大备受信赖的公司， CTR 的声誉依赖于我们以及供 应商共同执行商业规范。

What is SCBC? 什么是 SCBC?

• The SCBC policy clearly articulates CTR’s core values, principles, and expectations of our vendors , includin g p olicies on c hild / slave labour , harassment / abuse , discrimination, bribery, etc. CTR expects that all vendors, including our vendor’s sub‐contractors, are in full compliance with our SCBC policies. As a reminder, all CTR vendors are required to submit a signed Section F (SCBC) of the Vendor .

Background of Audit Program 审核计划的背景

• Initial launch of CTR’s SCBC program was in 2005 CTR 于 2005 年最初启动 SCBC 项目

• Effective January 1, 2010, CTR launched the new SCBC audit program. While CTR’s SCBC p olic y was not chan g ed , CTR re‐desi g ned and standardized the audit processes, guidelines, and consequence management to improve execution and vendor compliance

  • 从 2010 年 1 月 1 日起， CTR 开始启动新的 SCBC 审核项目。然而 CTR 并没改变 SCBC 的政策 ， 只是重新设计和标准化审核的流程 、 指引和后果管 理 以便改善执行 和供应商遵守。

Background of Audit Program 审核计划的背景

• The SCBC audit program involves on‐site audits of approximately 200 vendor factories annually. All on ‐ site audits are conducted by Intertek, a certified independent third party auditor.

SCBC 审核项目每年涉及到 200 多个供应商的现场审核。所有的审核都由独立的 第三方公司 Intertek 进行。

• In 2012, the SCBC program employed the Workplace Conditions Assessment (WCA) audit system . This results in improved audit tracking, simplicity in scoring of ven d ors, n i d ustry stan d ar di zat on, an a s gn i d i ifi cant ecrease n manua d i l manipulation of data.

在 2012 年， SCBC 项目开始采用 WCA 审核系统。这样就能改良对审核的跟踪， 简化供应商评分，使行业标准化和有效地降低数据的手工篡改。
