Study on Ru catalytic system for selective hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene
Abstract : Since Asahi Kasei of Japan industrialized the selective hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene in 1989, it has aroused widespread attention worldwide. Compared with the traditional method, the method of using benzene to select hydrogenation to produce cyclohexene reduces the process flow, reduces the use of hydrogen and energy consumption, which is both economical and energy-saving. This is a process path that may be used in many applications and has great production potential. The selective hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene has the characteristics of atomic economy and environmental friendliness. The research on the catalyst for the selective hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene has important application value and certain academic significance.
This paper mainly studies the preparation method of Ru / HZSM-5 catalyst, and characterizes the catalyst. The controlled variable method is used to study the selectivity of cyclohexene during the partial hydrogenation of benzene. First, the preparation of Ru / HZSM5 was carried out. In the experiment, the carrier HZSM-5 was pre-treated and immersed in Ru salt solution, then dried, ground, and reduced under certain conditions to prepare Ru-based catalysts containing additives. Through NH3 physical adsorption, XRD, IR and other characterization, it was found that the introduction of ruthenium may adjust the acidity of HZSM-5 catalyst, reduce the acidity and acid strength of the catalyst, and the molecular sieve still maintains the previous structure after the ruthenium is loaded. Secondly, the catalytic performance of the catalyst in the selective hydrogenation of benzene is discussed. It is concluded that the unsupported Ru-Zn catalyst has a higher cyclohexene yield than the supported Ru-Zn catalyst.
